We had a great Saturday despite the shortages on some items. Our apologies for that, but we really can’t make it happen any faster in the low daylight levels. There will continue to be short supplies of spinach, cherry tomatoes, and eggs (especially these 3), but other items as well. Our Christmas was a blessed one as I hope it was to all of you. The Viney Grove Christmas Pageant was its wonderful best as always. Our boys received a game called Risk, and after 24 almost solid hours of playing the same game, I was ready to make kindling out of it.

It is wonderful to come to you this quiet, cold night. As I write, this the window next to computer is slightly open to the north and it ushers in the biting cold which is quickly tempered by our wood heat, the finest form of heat in the world. Can there be any time equal to winter?
