The first Wednesday of July will be full shareholders only and the second Wednesday will be for everyone again.

We would covet your prayers for rain. As of today it has been weeks since we have received rain in any of the 3 locations that we are farming. At our farm near Hindsville, we don’t have the capability to water because of well issues; so for now dry farming just keeps plants alive but doesn’t encourage production.

I just wanted to send out a quick note to let all of you know that there will be NO Wednesday market this week. I will be there for CSA only. We appreciate your patronage and hope you will visit with us again very soon.

It is a great joy to our family to see so many of you return for this season! Lots of changes are in store for the Wynns, and around this activity we will also be putting 100% of our efforts into bringing your families a bounty for the table.

I appreciate those of you who have spread the word about Community Supported Agriculture. We have received lots of inquiries regarding this avenue of our farming venture, and we have all of you to thank. PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for notifying us about your participation and payment will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010. We will then open up the shares to our waiting list.

It is clear that the two different plans for participating are a big success. Hopefully, this will better meet needs for everyone. Some of you will begin receiving product in May and some in June. Others will have a share every week and others only bi-monthly. Like last year, we will contact you each week as a reminder of your share delivery.

For sending your payment, our address is Dwight Wynn, 15608 W. Battlefield, Prairie Grove, AR  72753. You may also drop it off on Saturday mornings at the old bus depot in Fayetteville on S. School St. from 9:00-noon.

We greatly enjoyed our time with your families yesterday at the Farm Party! For those who have finished the 2009 CSA journey with us, please know how much we appreciate your support for our family’s lifestyle.

Some shareholders have this week left to receive produce and a few will receive shares into October to make up for absences during the summer.

Our hours at the depot this week will be 3:00-6:00 p.m. due to fading light levels.

Should anyone need lamb this week we have a few roasts and chops left. Let me know and I’ll send the information.

There were also 10 or so who wanted to receive produce into October. You can send us a check to Dwight Wynn, 15608 W Battlefield, Prairie Grove, AR 72753 or drop off the payment at the depot. The deadline is September 30th. You will receive 4 Wednesday deliveries for a cost of $80 for the month.

We have received some last minute RSVPs, and I just want to make sure we have a list of everyone who is coming so we have enough produce gathered for all who attend. Here is a list of those who have emailed me that they are coming. If you aren’t on the list and are planning to come, please email so that we are prepared. If your plans have changed and you won’t be joining us, please email that as well.
