The Dickeys begin their fall pumpkin and squash harvest just in time for the month of October and fall decorating (and eating too!) They are located in Tontitown. Take 412 west to Harmon Road. Follow Harmon for about a mile to the first curve and turn right onto Wildcat Creek Road. Follow this for several miles until it turns to gravel. They are just past this point on the right. I am sure there will be signs and plenty of traffic, especially if you visit on a Saturday. You can visit their website at dickeyfarmsupick.com or call 479-361-9975. Here’s what we have for the week if you need to order:

Deana Dickey, Tontitown: Deana wants to come this week. She and David still have plenty of produce from summer and fall! I wasn’t given specifics but her table was loaded at Saturday’s market!

Dwight & Candye Wynn, Viney Grove:

  • Sweet Baby Girl Cherry Tomatoes: $3.50/pint or 2 pints for $6.00 SPECIAL PRICE THIS WEEK ONLY! it’s a new crop …big and tasty
  • Beefsteak Tomatoes: $3.00/lb. Brandywine or the Red Varieties of Jetsetter and Big Beef
  • English Cucumber: $1.00/each still seedless and bitter-free…and a foot long!
  • Green Bean Mix: $1.50/half pound these are scarce and I won’t promise but I’ll try!
  • Winter Squash: $ .80/lb includes black acorn, butternut, carnival acorn, sweet dumplin’ and pasta and some pumpkin
  • Broom Corn: $5.00/bundle includes at least 7 stalks approx. 7-10 feet tall with good rich fall colors and sounds and textures…great for decorating!
  • Fall Bouquets: $5.00 still beautiful!
  • Lemon Basil: $2.50/quarter lb. just the perfect size!
  • Fresh Dill: $1.50/bundle mostly fronds (the weed portion) which makes it so easy to use!
  • Single Flat-Leaf Baby Parsley: $1.50/bundle Rachel Ray’s favorite
  • Brown Eggs from Happy Pastured Hens: $3.50/dozen VERY !! limited amounts …order early

Just a few cuts left of our summer LAMB! :

  • Arm Roast : $7.15/lb 2 pkgs available, just over a pound per pkg

We also have about 10 smaller whole cut-up chickens from our first summer harvest. They are still $3.15/lb. Raised on pasture without antibiotics or hormones just plenty of bugs and worms and green tops!
